History of Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India

I have the Honor to be Associated with Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India as one of the Founder Members since its Formation in 1978. The Federation is affiliated with Asian Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation and World Kabaddi Federation. At Present 25 States are affiliated with Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India.

The Federation has Conducted 24 Nationals, 4 Federation Cup Tournaments, 4 North Zone Circle Kabaddi Championships, One Junior National Championship and One International Tournament in 1991.

In March 1983 Indian Circle Kabaddi Federation Fielded Men-Team in the Ch. Zahoor Elahi Memorial International Gold cup Tournament at Lahore, Pakistan.

In March 1985 Federation also Fielded Men team in Obaidullah Memorial International Kabaddi Circle Tournaments in Lahore Pakistan.

In March 1997 Federation Fielded Men Team in Exhibition Matches at Gujranwala, Chicha wanti, Okara, Faisalabad and at Lahore Pakistan.

In 1998 & 1999 Federation Fielded Men Team in the International Tournament at Lahore, Pakistan. Indian Team Won the Championships.

In 2004 Federation Fielded a Men Team and Played Nine Exhibitions Matches in Different Districts of Punjab Pakistan.

The Federation also Fielded its Men Team in the World Cup Tournaments at Toronto, Vancouver (Canada) and California (USA) in 1995 and 1998.

In 1998 the Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India Organized Indo Pak Kabaddi Matches in Faridkot, Malerkotla, Patiala, Ropar, Fatehgarh Sahib Districts of Punjab.

In 2000 the Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India invited Pakistan Kabaddi Team and the Indo Pak kabaddi Marches were Organized by Haryana Olympic Association in Panchkula , Gurgaon, Faridabad, Jind and Chautala . 4 Matches were also Conducted by Federation at Khanna Hoshiarpur, Ludhiana and Dhariwal Punjab.

In 2006 the Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India, Conducted Indo Pak Kabaddi Matches in Patiala, Ropar, Hoshiarpur, Hansali – Faridabad, Delhi.

In 2008 the Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India, Conducted Indo Pak Kabaddi Matches in Hansali, Faridabad, Nuh and Patiala.

In 2010 the Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India, Organized Indo Pak Kabaddi Matches in Faridabad , Gurgaon , Panipat, Jind, Bhiwani Districts of Haryana, Sujanpur Tira, Solan of Himachal,  Chandigarh and Fatehgarh Sahib Punjab.

In 2012 the Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India, Organized Indo Pak Kabaddi Matches at Faridabad and Kaithal Districts of Haryana .

Circle Kabaddi is a Rural Masses Game, now very Popular Throughout the India. Apart from Organizing National and International Matches, the main aim of ACKFI is to take Away the Youth from Menace of Drugs and Alcohol. We accept the Cooperation of one and all in this Endeavour of the Federation along with Organization of Sports Events.
